Test Types
- Pure-Tone – Pure-Tone Audiometry (Baseline/ Annual) The most common hearing test. Results are plotted on an audiogram. Detects mild to profound hearing loss.
- Bone Conduction Testing (Diagnostic Audiometry) – A small device is placed behind your ear. Sends sound vibrations directly to the inner ear. Helps distinguish between: Conductive hearing loss (outer/middle ear problem) & Sensorineural hearing loss (inner ear or nerve problem)
